This is a basic RV park behind a truck stop, but it was quiet. It's a fine place to stay to visit the interesting town of Deer Lodge, definitely worth a stop. The sites are generally level, pull thrus, and there is good spacing between sites. Verizon cell worked well. I definitely would stay there again.
This park is really very nice, quiet and scenic. There are spacious shaded sites for those who prefer that and open long sites for those of us who prefer open areas. While one side of the park is long term very old travel trailers, there is nothing intimidating or unsafe, mostly just older people. Owners live on-site, including young children. The rate I paid is based on weekly rate. Verizon cell works great, including air card. The parks WiFi was a little weak, but it worked most of the time in the back open are where I was parked. This is a convenient location to visit Kalispell or Whitefish. I stayed there to also visit Glacier NP (about 30 miles), although there are closer RV parks to Glacier if that is your only destination in that area. I would definitely stay again when in the area.
All sites in this park are narrow as are the roads which are in poor condition. While many of the sites are tolerable, we were assigned one of the many inferior sites. The blacktop was severely crumbling and the site had a distinct downward slope. It made leveling very difficult after a difficult back-in with the trailer because of the narrow interior roads. Sitting outside was impossible because of the highway noise (a hill, so there was a lot truck revving sound), and construction of a building adjacent to the park. There were jackhammer sounds from 5:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. even on the weekend. The noise was as loud as if the jackhammer were beside your ears. The pool was not open despite there having been at least two weeks of over 90 degree temperatures. We definitely would not stay here again. There are extra fees for cable TV and for pets.
